The Rescue Tour @ Bibles, Burgers & Brew

Bibles, Burgers and Brew is hosting Dave Anderson and Roger Walck for an evening worship concert on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at 7:10 p.m.  Our Savior’s Lutheran Church is located at 805 Birch Street, Lamberton.

Dave and Roger have a combined 100 years experience in music ministry!  The audience will often be invited to sing along with Dave and Roger.

In addition to their music experience they are ambassadors for the Shepherd’s Canyon Retreat ministry.  

Shepherd’s Canyon Retreat provides week-long counseling retreats for men and women in full-time 

ministry who are in the midst of burnout, stress, depression, and conflicts of all kinds.  The Shepherd’s Canyon Retreat ministry is based in Arizona.

On August 13, 1993, Dave Anderson, his wife Barbara, and five others survived a plane crash in the 

Bering Sea.  The seven missionaries were in 41-degree water for about an hour.  Their rescue has been called the most dramatic air/sea rescue in aviation history.  At the concert at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Dave will share highlights from their crash and rescue story.

The public is invited to this event at a 7:10pm worship concert at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 805 Birch Street Lamberton.  This event, hosted by the area Bibles, Burgers, and Brew group will gather on August 8th at Our Savior’s rather than the American Legion. Join us prior to the concert for a meal from 6-6:45pm, prepared by the Lamberton Legion for $10.  A free-will offering will be received in support of the Shepherd’s Canyon Retreat ministry.
